TAKHTBHAI: A man was shot dead and two others wounded when armed men stormed their shop near Railway Phatak just a few yards away from the Takhtbhai Police Station. The deceased and injured were brothers, official sources said. Police sources said armed men identified as Jamal Khan and Pordal Khan attacked Niaz, Bahadur and Umar Ghani while they were busy at their juice shop in the main Takhtbhai bazaar. Eyewitness said after torturing the victims the accused opened fire at them.
As a result, all three sustained serious bullet injuries. They were taken to the hospital. However, Bahadur succumbed to his wounds on the way to the hospital. The police arrested Jamal and Pordal red handed after the crime and recovered a Kalashnikov and a pistol from their possession.
