LAHORE: The appointment of Justice RetdSaeeduzZamanSiddiqui as the Sindh governor has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).
Barrister Javed Jaffrey has filed a petition in LHC against the appointment of Justice (r) SaeeduzZamanSiddiqui as the Singh governor.The petitioner took the plea that Justice Siddiqui does not come up to the eligibility criterion to be appointed as the governor.
He was not fit for the post of the governor on medical grounds. Therefore, court should nullify the orders of his appointment as governor Sindh, he prayed. Justice Saeed has taken oath as the Sindh governor in the age of 80. He also looks very weak physically.
