Jauharabad: The police foiled an attempt to marry off a ten-year-old girl with her fifty-year-old groom in Nasirmeju area of Jauharabad on Saturday. The girl was likely to marry a man four times her age. The father of the bride was given Rs. 0.4 million in connection with this marriage, police officials reported. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
