ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria took to Twitter and claimed on Wednesday that India violated the ceasefire twice along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karela sector of the disputed valley.
This is the second ceasefire violation reported today – the FO alleged – adding that the Pakistan’s armed forces responded befittingly. “Second time today, India violated ceasefire at Karela sector which is continuing since 4pm, Pakistan Army’s responding,” Zakaria tweeted.
Reports regarding ceasefire violations usually come from the Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Asim Bajwa, however, today’s announcement was from the FO.
